Nightmare Scenario Residency
Aggie Cornog tells stories, dangerous and enchanting stories, but this terrifying tale has a life of its own.
A young girl, lied to by her parents and a soldier betrayed by his leaders, are thrown together in a world of war. There’s no hope for either of them unless truth is told, and the story turned in its tracks. But, for that to happen, Aggie needs our help!
Nightmare Scenario is an edgy and immersive musical mystery that places the audience in the centre of the action and leaves the final decision to us.

Community Projects
Alongside our production of Nightmare Scenario, we have created a range of community projects giving people the chance to tell their own stories through song. Across autumn 2021 and winter 2022 we will be working with St Woolos Primary School, Newport High School, the Coffee and Laughs community group, the Gypsy Stars Choir, and we'll also be running Song Creators online sessions.
Community Artists leading work: Duncan Hallis, Nyla Webbe, Laura Bradshaw, Stacey Blythe & Foxxglove.
Nightmare Scenario Residency is funded and supported by Arts Council of Wales, Ashley Family Foundation, Leys Development, Newport Community Endowment Fund, Moondance Foundation, Ty Cerdd, & The Riverfront Theatre.
We are also extremely grateful to everyone who supported our crowdfunder campaign for the Nightmare Scenario Community Residency.
